How to be a Certified Diver
Scuba diving is an exhilarating water sport that allows individuals to explore the beautiful and mysterious underwater world. The term “scuba” stands for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus, which refers to the specialized equipment that allows trained divers to breathe comfortably while submerged in water. Scuba diving is an exciting activity, but it comes with a great deal of responsibility. To ensure safety, individuals must undergo thorough training and acquire certification. Skilfully trained instructors, certified by various diving organizations worldwide, teach beginners how to properly use scuba equipment and follow safety protocols. This extensive training typically involves three parts, including classroom study, confined water training, and open water training. The requirements for scuba diving certification and the entire training process vary from one country to another. However, scuba diving certification can be a thrilling achievement for adventure enthusiasts as young as ten (10) years old. First level to be a Certified dive is Open Water Diver.
